needed some more recolors of BlakeBoy's fabulous Tivoli Plantation Set and so I transferred Buggy's wood texture onto it and recolored it with Aelia's Lonesome/Eco color actions -and some chosen ones (forest, olive, denim, darkteal, chocolate, tomato, rust, indigobrown) from her autumn colors.

There is a total of 26 recolors. The meshes are not included, get them here. You need at least the Tivoli 2 tile coffeetable for them to work.

Have a swatch (snagged the original ones from Aelia's dreamwidth):

I hope some of you find these as useful as I do ^^

For this month's Makes I recolored Sandy's Drama Bathroom from Aroundthesims2.com.

• 1 recolor of nanu's selle mirror (credit for mesh converion to curiousb)
These meshes are included per policy.

I hope these recolors are "whimsical" enough -since English isn't my native language I ha to look at a lot of pictures to get a feeling for the meaning of whimsical. From what I have seen I like it very much :P

Advent 2011 - Day 25

I updated my Present Clutter Set and recolored the meshes with some winterly textures. These aren't overly christmasy so you should be able to use them out of season, too.

All objects except the sellotape are recolored severeal times, as a bonus I also made 10 recolors of aikea's paper clutter.

All needed meshes are included.

The changes made in the meshes:

• wrapping paper and ribbons slaved to save space and make recoloring easier (mastermeshes are the standing ribbons and the half used wrapping paper)

• made all objects shiftable if you have AL

• added two more boxes in bigger sizes slaved to the small one

I love IKEA and the colors we got with the EP and thought that they'd fit my latest mesh set.
I recolored the sofa set and the pillows in all IKEA colors I got from piggy. The pictures show a few examples of the sofa and the picture with the pillows has all colors in it.

Of course these are basegame compatible!

Please make sure you download my meshes here and here.

I hope you like them because I plan to Ikea-fy a lot more meshes (esp. Jope's). So stay tuned ;)

03/28/12: I made a new version of the freestanding sink which is now made up of two parts: the sink as a individual free hanging sink and the cabinet as a decorative item (found under paintings) with two recolorable subsets so now you can really match it to the kitchen when mixing top and bottom recolors. The cabinet is slaved to the counter. The new meshes have new GUIDs so if for some reason you want to keep the old sink still in your game you can.

For placing the cabinet you might want to press ctrl + alt if there's already something on the wall.

03/25/12: For everyone having problems with the shelf-cupboard: Please try out this version: Cupboard2

***
As requested in the request area, I created a kitchen set based on the Faktum kitchen from Ikea.
Please note the following:

• Although the original kitchen is from Ikea, you do NOT need the Ikea EP since these are completely new meshes that aren't linked to any existing Ikea meshes. There are two MASTER meshes in this set, though:

• The three cupboards and the free standing sink are slaved to the counter

• Cupboard number three also takes the texture from cupboard number one for the inner of the doors and the shelves. Two glass recolors are already included.

• I already made a psd file and an additional shadow overlay for easier recoloring which you can download here. The psd file can be opened with GIMP, too.

Meshes:

Recolor:

Meshes:

• counter with doors, counter with drawers
• free standing sink (place with 'moveobjects on' and 'boolprop SnapObjectsToGrid false')
• sink to be placed on counters
• cupboard, shelf and tall cupboard

You can now download a collectionfile here.
The icon is the freestanding sink in the black and white pic above

Terry requested a livingroom and this is the outcome of my trying to make it available for our sims
The set conists of 8 new meshes:

• 2 sofas (one normal 3-seater and one with extended front part)
• loveseat
• ottoman
• 2 armchairs (one matching the upholstery and one leather armchair)
• tablelamp
• decorative cushion (shilftable with AL)

Also included is a recolor of a coffeetable of an older set of mine (Dorie Living) and a recolor of the earthliving cushions and both needed meshes.

Some facts you should know:

• The sofa with the protuding front part is cloned from a loveseat and sits two sims. If you want to prevent sims from walking through the extending parts, put slot blockers or deco items in it.

• All upholstery is slightly oversized so you will need the cheat 'boolprop SnapObjectsToGrid false' to place them near walls without clipping.

The normal sofa, armchair and ottoman are slaved to the loveseat. All recolors of the loveseat will be applied to the other items as well. Don't delete the loveseat.

• The leather armchair needs certain texture parts to look good so if you recolor it, please use the overlays I made. Download here. (Or use the one by zerographic below)

I made three more meshes to complete the Serenity Sofa Set: An armrest, Armchair (without arms lol) and an ottoman. All of these are SLAVED to the Corner Piece of the original set. If you recolor the set, only recolor the loveseat and the corner piece and the textures will be applied to all meshes.

The armchair and ottoman can be found in the seating category under armchairs, the armrest is in decorative -> misc and costs 30 simoleons. Lilke the pillows it is already in the right height to be placed on the sides of the armchair or loveseat.

Here is an example what you can do with the whole set:

And these are the three new meshes:

As requested by Goldie, here is a simple but cozy sofa set for you.
The set includes a corner piece (livingroom chairs section), a loveseat and two chubby pillows.
The pillows are under decorative > statues and already have the right height for the sofa. Smaller pillow is slaved to the bigger one.

Use the cheats moveobjects on and boolprop snapobjectstogrid false to put the pieces together. Sims can still use them.

I created a new mesh set for the theme which consists of 10 new meshes, some recolors and some painting recolors for the painting from my bathroom clutter set. The mesh is included but you can get the whole set here.

The boat shelf is decorative only -sorry but there weren't many items small enough to fit in anyway.

Sofa and loveseat are slaved to the armchair.

The white shelf has one working slot. I had this object sitting in my folder for quite a while now and didn't know nothing about slots when creating it. It can be found unter surfaces ->misc.

The wheel and the sign are shiftable if you have AL.

Recolor:

The recolors are called "white" in the filename because the wood I used is white. The seating is blue of course ;)
Recolored items are: Seating, coffeetable, sign (a few times), shelf, deco boat shelf and glass spheres.

Meshes and Recolors and Paintings are in seperate folders. Collectionfile is included, the icon is a picture of the wheel. Everything is basegame compatible and recolourable.

mystic_rain: (Default)

2 Recolourable subsets, correct shadows, basegame compatible, polycount is pretty low:
(loveseat) 3556/2637, (endtable) 478/304 , (footrest) 456/441

Footrest is slaved to the loveseat.
